Welcome to the home of the IMC Northern England mailing list. Our friends call us Northern Indymedia. We are the people who run http://northern-indymedia.org/ We are the lovechildren of the former IMC York and IMC Leeds/Bradford collectives who have merged to become the Northern Indymedia collective, to provide a better resource for alternative media in this region. All are welcome to get involved, it is your newswire after all, and we hold regular meetings around the region which are advertised on this list and on our site. This list is intended for debate, discussion, positive commentary and general cud chewing about any aspect of grassroots citizen journalism in this region and the resource we provide, so if you want to help out with building and shaping this movement, or are interested in being the media, you are in the right place.
