VideA_2001::festival audiovisuals i noves tecnologies

Telenoika's Cultural Association organizes for a second 
year in a row the VideA festival, that will take place 
on the 18, 19 and 20 of October of 2001 in the "Mercat 
de les Flors" in Barcelona (www.bcn.es/icub/mflorsteatre/).

VideA_2001 is interested in all your ideas and proposals. 
We are looking for people willing to take part in our festival:

VIDEOS, CONFERENCES,PAINTINGS, PICTURES, SCULPTURES, VIDEO-JOCKEYS,
SHORTFILMS,COURSES, PERFORMANCES, THEATRE, ELECTRONIC MUSIC, NET-ART,
EXPERIMENTATIONS, EXHIBITIONS, IMMPROVISATIONS, DANCE.....

Everything has a place in VideA_2001. We are specially 
interested in the fuse of diferents creative elements
in one place and always demonstrating a consequent
attitude towards all that is happening in our world in
our time.

The deadline for the acceptance of proposals is on the 
7th of September of 2001.

Telenoika is a non profit association. None of the members 
of the organization will earn money with this festival. Due 
to our critical attitude towards todays world, we firmly 
refuse any company's sponsorization.

This takes us to the organization of a non-profit ($) 
festival, with a very low budget that is entirely for the 
lodging of the participants, the technical instalations and 
the promotion of the festival.

This year the technic installation will be amazing :
10 beamers 3.000 lumens, 4 beames 5.000 lumens, 20KW
of sound system to immerse the viewer on the audio
visual atmosphere.

The organization agrees to pay  the participants housing in 
a hotel in the center of Barcelona during the days of the 
festival.

If necessary we can study the possibility of paying some 
extra money for the transport of materials, although by 
the moment this is something which we cannot guarantee. In 
a few weeks we will know something about it and we'll inform
as soon as we know how much can we spend on each part.
