I received several copies of the nitelifeinfo spam, and one to my
non-generic address, which is only visible to people who receive my
emails directly, you can't see it on the archive (and you need to scan
through the header to find it...).

I hate to sound paranoid, but this suggests that it's one of the
subscribers. There are two hidden subscribers (last time I looked -
any subscriber can check the subscriber list), with quite probably
legitimate reasons, but maybe one or the other is a spammer. Only Siv
can judge if these are legitimate subscribers or spammers...

If it only happens occasionally, then I think that hiding spam on the
site itself will probably be a higher priority once the site is
left-column listed. We can just ignore spams on the mailing
list if they remain rare enough.

If you're really annoyed by spam, then I recommend

http://www.spambouncer.org

but you need to think carefully about how much of their very complex
formulae you want to install... (It's sophisticated stuff, not for the
total novice to email handling - there are different categories of
probable and definite spam, you can choose to bounce definite spam
straight to the spammer and make him/her think that your address no
longer exists, you can choose to send automatic complaints to
postmasters, etc. I commented out most of the options and still trap
most spam - except for the nitelife one.)
