Hello!

This is Jay, one of the list administrators for the
"imc-communication@indymedia.org" list, one of the primary e-mail lists
local IMCs use to communicate with one another.  Over the next few months
we hope to really start using imc-communication as an exciting, dynamic,
easy-to-follow and multilingual place for local IMCs to learn about issues
that are being discussed in the global network.  

Unless I'm wrong, right now no one from your IMC is subscribed to the list.
 We'd love every IMC to have at least one liaision on the list.  That way,
a liaison from your IMC can keep track of the discussions happening
throughout the network and make sure to let everyone at your local IMC
know.  S/he will be able to relay your IMC's opinions on the issues to
everyone else through the list.  

So, talk about it in your IMC and have someone subscribe (go to
"http://lists.indymedia.org", scroll down to
imc-communication@indymedia.org, and follow the instructions).  Everyone
who subscribes will have to send a brief introduction, just to say hi.
