Hi Ben,

I'm affraid your informatin about the organising of a Summer Camp is not
very up-to-date.
During the last IRC meeting there were about 25 people present, and the
group is making progress, several people are actually allready working
on organisation and things are getting quite specific, please check the
wiki page for the latest info.

The Berlin gathering sounds like its gonna be cool, but it was pretty
clear during the lats meeting that we are looking for an indymedia
gathering that is not in the margin of something else where we would
feel the urge to cover the event and not have time to dicuss indymedia
issues again.

Another problem is the fact that this will happen in about a month,
which is really too short a period for people who need visa to obtain
them, and that is in teh best of circumstances where people would be
able to obtain visa for Germany at all.

Third problem is travel costs. Its impossible to find fundig for people
that want to attend but don't have the financial means to do so on such
short notice.

However, this event might be an occasion for people envolved in
preparing the summer camp to get together and meet IRL if they're going
to be present at this event anyway, its certainly something we can
discuss during next meeting, which is next sunday (march 7th) at 16.00 h
GMT.

Greetings,

Libby
