[Imc-uk-process] Why I am pleased for Indymedia to distance itself
from Tony Gosling.

Well I think a strong stance by those involved in Indymedia should be
taken against Tony Gosling.
Firstly for emailing AnarchoBabe of Indymedia Scotland directly off list
when AnarchoBabe has made clear she did not wish communications from him
and wished all discussion of Indymedia Editorial as far as this issue
goes take place on open imc-uk-features list.

This is all wrapped up with Tony Gosling open promotion of far right
groups. He chooses to link to them as he see they have unique
information. If this is that case then that information can be taken and
verified and republished with out generally recommending them. One thing
is Tony Gosling does not see groups such as the America Free Press as
far right. The reason such groups attempt to dispute the systematic
nature of the the genocide of the Nazis is in order to rehabilitate
them. The American Free Press is pretty obviously coming from the far
right. I can understand seeing groups like ProsperityUK as just being
hard right and one has to dig deeper to see they are a far right front,
but there is enough that are obvious for you to wish to distance
yourself from Tony Gosling as well.
But it is not just Tony linking to American Free Press etc. on his
webpages and in articles he posts to Indymedia.
He is happy to meet with them (when they were Spotlight) and praise them
as 'sincere' in an article in Squall.
On his page:
http://www.bilderberg.org/jewish.htm#Fast
He points people to "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion"
where he says:
"Well-known book 'Warrant for Genocide' attempts to prove the Protocols
to be a forgery."
So he he knows of the Norman Cohn's book which not only attempts but
does actually prove they are a forgery. Why does Tony Gosling want to
put this simply as an 'attempt'. This book brings together proof that
has appeared before in many places including the Times in 1921 showing
how they are based on Dialogue aux Enfers a satire against Napoleon.
Does Tony Gosling believe this earlier work was not published?
Warrant for Genocide is well worth reading for it overview on evolution
of anti-Semitism, but some info on the forgery of the Protocols can be
found at: http://www.masonicinfo.com/protocols.htm
my previous musings on the issue.

I realise that many of you are viewing Tony Gosling like the punks that
wore swastikas in attempt to be rebellious and attract attention they
crave. And that being disruptive to Indymedia is enough to want to put
distance from him.
cheers,
