Hmmm, well _if_ we decide to have them I think we should
say how people can ask for them (on the wiki I guess) --
globally people just need to ask on listwork, we could do
it like that or we could tie them to admin accounts on the
web site. Linking them to admin accounts on the web site
is tempting because this answers the question about how to
allocate them...

Why does having an IMAP account make any difference from
having aliases in terms of potential abuse?

Dunno, perhaps... remember that until not long ago he was
a moderator on at least one global list and he is still a
signatory on the UK network bank account... I'm not sure
that him having a tony at bristol.indymedia.org (or whatever)
address really would have made much difference... if
anything it might have brought things to a head sooner if
he was doing non indymedia stuff with an indy address...?
