[New-imc] involvement with community

Hi everyone,

We didn't include this in the introductory letter, and I don't think we
should because this is just an introduction and an invitation to future
communication and not a completely definitive communication, but one thing
we really have to remember to do as we're communicating with the aspiring
IMCs is what kind of contact the group has had with community members,
other local independent media and other activists.  We want to make sure
that the group has tried to connect with the local community and isn't just
a couple people meeting in a proverbial vacuum without any support from
other local media makers.  I guess the new IMC criteria item about having
open meetings addresses that but I think we have to remember to ask
explicitly to make sure.  Just a thought as I'm sending out the intro letters,
