Cze¶æ czechów, hi everyone at new-imc,
Looks to me like our neighbours over the mountains are ready for
proposal to new-imc! i've set 4 oct 18:00 as the new-imc internal
review 3-day deadline. After that there'll be a week at imc-process.
Here are the URLs just for convenience.

Czech people:
i have two suggestions, but i don't think they justify delaying the
application, you're clearly well enough organised and this is just
following through further on steps you've already started anyway.
(1) editorial policy - i think you should start looking around at the
*technical* details of how various IMCs handle editorial policy, and
at least start thinking of how you could do this in practice. It might
sound obvious right now, but when you get down to deciding where the
subtle borderline between unacceptable and acceptable posts lies in
practice, who decides, how you decide, how you double-check, and when
greens, anarchists, human rights activists all have somewhat differing
opinions, it could be messy. i also expect you might get tired of
double posts, empty posts, obvious spam, etc. In any case, while here
in IMC PL we have a quite detailed and consensed-upon editorial policy:
http://strony.wp.pl/wp/piotrm10/teksty/polityka.txt
it's only theoretical (so far :), and what's important is how the
editorial policy works in practice...
You're free to copy, simplify, modify, etc and adopt our editorial
policy or any other editorial policy floating around the IMC network.
(2) there are some other global lists on which it would be good to
have someone as liaison:
imc-tech, imc-process, imc-finance & imc-proposals
pozdrawiam
