Petros, hello. Some points.
When we were working through the imc-finance proposal some time ago, you came
up against ideas from two people in London [from London working group] that
differed from yours; but were very much within and for the (larger) principles
of the Indymedia network - otherwise many people in Indymedia would have
objected to them. In fact they did not: those ideas actually became the
Indymedia finance working guidelines.
Your response to meeting those diverse visions and thoughts to yours, and that
you did not show any sign of understanding or effort to understand, was to try
to persuade people generally in Indymedia that those people with diverse views
from yours were <a string of negative names>.
Later, when you were asked repeatedly to actually enter into an open discussion
about the debated points, you did not.
Your politics, like mine and everybody else's, are defined by your actions on
this planet; not by what you write or think.
Concerning things in London now. Even though you have very limited information
(have you read through the uk-process archives and seen what is documented
there?), you have not actually addressed one single point raised in the
objection to this specific application for imc-London, or about the
disagreements in London amongst the people there, and you take 'sides'.
Your political solution to the situation is again to try to persuade other
people in Indymedia that those people with diverse understandings and ideas to
yours are <a string of negative names>.
You also ignore, by not saying anywhere, what the history of those people with
diverse views from yours is: they have been very much involved in Indymedia for
more than two years - their work is documented in the global and local
archives; (they also worked on the Membership Criteria that are related to the
current situation). You also ignore the work done by those people that the
Indymedia network clearly benefits from: for a recent example - the
documentation set up for the Ford Foundation issue, which many people have been
finding very useful.
