Glad to see you both on this list! For a long while we've been trying to
build a closer relationship between the new-imc working group and people
who are available to help with techincal issues. Yes, there are some
active imc-tech members on this list, and they have been very helpful, but
there are still a lot of IMCs that find themselves without any techincal
help, even after passing through the new-imc process. It can be pretty
demoralizing.
So, glad to hear you're both aboard. Keep an eye to the list and you'll
see how things work around here. We try to be as supportive and
encouraging as possible, while still making sure the aspiring IMCs do the
basic organizing work necessary to develop into sustainable
collectives. Tech help at any point, even just a note from someone with
tech experience to see if the new-imc has any questions, would be a great
step in the right direction.
