And open source relies on certain criteria - so does copyleft etc - 
Indymedia has hallmarks - the following from the UK editorial 
guidelines is mirrored inmost basic Indymedia texts:

* Discrimination: posts intending to oppress - using language, 
imagery, or other forms of communication which promote racism, 
fascism, xenophobia, sexism, authoritarian attitudes or agendas, or 
any other form of discrimination  coercion or domination.

Whether you think we should do something about this or just ignore it 
- i think it is something for regional imcs near beachcities to think 
about aswell - you can not say indymedia is only about freedom. The 
'indy spirit of freedom' includes the idea that you do not 
descriminate, which beachcities does.

At the very least we should make it publically known that this is not 
an imc - do not rely on the idea that people will know indymedia 
isn't rightwing - depends which they come across first. And what if 
we do nothing and 50 of these turn up... do you still say do nothing?
