hi there,
perhaps having a policy for how we engage on our network organizing
lists would be something this list could come up with. so if someone
doesn't abide by our criteria and our list etiquette we have the
opportunity of asking them to change their behavior or be
unsubscribed. i'm currently thinking of cuibono's emails on process
list. i just sent a response asking him to change his behavior and
his attacks on urbana imc. he is out of line, disruptive, negative,
mean, i don't know who he is. he just appeared out of nowhere.....is
he an imc member or not and what are his intentions? i haven't seen
evidence of having network solidarity in mind at all.
i think having some policy would be really positive.
short and simple and clear....something that no one could truly argue with.
are these lists for us to work together as much as possible? or are
these lists playgrounds for public abuse? please let's make them
safe spaces.
ever notice how few women engage on any of our lists?
love
sheri
