[ahimsa-tech] firewall hardware issues

Over the last week or so I haven't been able to ssh to the firewall, although
it's been passing packets fine. It also meant I was locked out of the kvm...

Through some pushing stuff around I finally got a remote console, and the view
is not good. There are all sorts of IDE timeouts, which a google suggests is
bad hardware. Damn. I can't get a login: prompt (yet) either.

bame has offered to power cycle the thing if needed. I'm a bit leery to do that
as if it doesn't come back up, nothing will be accessible.

So, for now, it's passing packets as always and doesn't appear to be slow or
anything. But it's also unhealthy and I am far far far away from it.

This is just a head's up.

P.S. At one point I had been planning on setting up CARP, which is redundant
firewalling, but it didn't happen. It's very cool though. :)
