[ahimsa-tech] ahimsa* NFS server OS drive failure

When the NFS server is booted it reports this:

==================================================================
SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0: Maxtor 6Y250P0-(PM)

WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and
replace your hard disk. A failure may be imminent.

Press F1 to continue
==================================================================

When I hit F1, grub takes forever to load, and the thing eventually panics. The
drive is hosed. That drive is *NOT* the /imc partition (which is RAID-10), but
the OS drive. So the IMC data isn't lost (well, presumably).

Now the drive itself doesn't have too much on it. Basically the only real
config is /etc/exports and I have a reasonably recent copy of that. The problem
is that I'm no where near the system--a loooooooong ways away in both space & time.

Well that just sucks, doesn't it?

I was thinking for an interim setup, it could even be booted from a live CD
like dynebolic, as long as that has 3ware 9xxx drivers and the NFS server
compiled in. If not, perhaps another livecd. Anyone know?
