Ok. I see you are grabbing it from web3:/imc/sf-active/MOVED/italy. This will 
have plenty to sync, but the site had been moved so that's not the latest. You 
should be grabbing it from italy.indymedia.org not web3. Note, the data you've 
downloaded is still fine, just rsync the rest from "italy".

Your UID is weird on web3 ...  I chowned them all over to st3. Is that OK?
