The Alternatives Indy project is for working on a next generation
Indymedia codebase that covers more than just news publishing but
collaborative efforts and social networking etc, the skies the limit atm
as it gets tied down to features etc, it's currently being worked out on
the alternatives list.

The folks developing the site are all techies, from various parts of the
world, there won't really be much need for 'support', but you could
contribute ;) overlooking the account will really be just setting up the
space basically, they'll do the install etc, hence why I offered ..

.. you may be interested in the list anyway aketus, there's some good
discussions on it, and a network of techies with wide ranges of skills.
I think it's a good thing that we connect with projects such as this.
