I move for disassociation with the Indymedia network, I have put out my
head into the firing line as requested by Indymedia, and feel that there
has been no support or collective approach over this issue from
Indymedia as a network (yes individuals, but where is the collective
network in this?), that convenience is having axxs.org deal with the
issue, not Indymedia. Indymedia has dissassociated from the issue, and
placed it in axxs.org hands for resolution.
We are being asked to act on Indymedia's behalf, with no support from
the network no understanding of it's process outside of the IMC folk,
and my personal feelings are that axxs.org is being used as a pawn in
this struggle, whether by design or convenience, it doesn't matter. I am
not willing to be the front-man for this internal issue anymore. It's
drained me of all incentive, it's in my face all day every day, and I am
tired, too tired.
Apologies folx, I am just really disappointed in the fact we are being
used to in this argument from either side to achieve a goal, and the
only resolution I can see is to be impartial as has always been the
status of axxs.org, and put this back into Indymedia networks hands by
placing an Indymedia-wide call for action on this issue, or move off the
server. I am totally regretting trying to put conditions on hosting, I
feel axxs.org should never have gone this route.
I suggest, as was mentioned regarding times, 3 days notice to all sites,
pending agreement of sudoers, and discussion on options.
Dave
