I have no idea what the issue is here, it sounds like something in the  
PHP that sets dates? anyone familiar with Melb IMC's codebase?

Have you contacted the melb-imc techs Harry? I've cc'd them with this.

Hey Harry btw, have I met you? I presume I have and my memory just  
fails me (to much information) the name soooo rings a bell ... I  
remember emails waay back now, but I think we have met in person too.  
email me in private if so, catch up when I come down to melbs

Yeah, the Melbourne Indymedia calendar. The problem seems to be events  
disappearing, as their date seems to default to 00/00/00

Also, this event cant be deleted for some wierd reason
