I updated from the previous upgrade to Plesk 8, at the moment upgrading
/installing some of the minor packages. (eg: php-ioncube-loader)

You will notice a lot of changes and extra features if you login to the
web interface. There security mailouts (watchdog monitoring system), web
based control of qmail queue, etc etc

two known issues I am working on atm :

indymedia.org.nz images not showing
adelaide.indymedia.org images not showing

(default images are showing for articles? is this a rewrite/php thing?)

The main difference I have noted with the upgrade over the 4 servers I
have so far done is that safe mode php is ON by default. This can be
switched off via the Setup icon under the domain in Plesk. I have done
this for any domains that had an issue with the upgrade, and left the
others, just something to be aware of.

more as I work out why the above issue is happening.
