we have 2000Gig a month both ways available on axxs.org, 18 gig is
nothing, we were doing 80+gig a month for a while with just melbourne,
when we had NY indy, boston and the UK indy's with rsyncing etc, it was
around 800gig a month traffic all up. Engagemedia.org are looking at
funding a 100Mbit pipe into the machine atm as well (we are on 10).
Bandwidth isn't really an issue, more than load on the machine for many
of the other sites (there's was a massive list? what is to come over?).
Time has been nasty to me atm, and we have had issues North East of
Victoria with all internet working on and off sporadically past 3 days.
I will look thru emails from cat folk as soon as I get a chance, tonight
also is a meeting on IRC.
Some of them we may have to approach the other collective I am in if
load goes right up, CompColl, until we can get another server online, or
I can 'fiddle' with setting some up on the other servers we run as a
temp till then.
Now I just wait 15mins for this email to 'send'.
