[axxs-sysadmin] wrong time on axxs.org - ntpdate?

kia ora koutou...

boud just made me and others aware in #axxs that the server is running
approx. 2 hours ahead in time. check with the command:

TZ=GMT LC_ALL=C date

on the server and on a trustworthy machine of your choice (e.g. your
localhost).

this might cause weird behaviour by processes acting with the rest of
the world outside axxs.org. what do people think about installing stuff
like ntpdate to keep in sync?

cheers,
 Sebastian
