You could try CompColl (EmmaG at anarchy.org.au) who run the Xchange  
Server (i.e anarchy.org.au), of which at least two Axxs members are  
also members of, however CompColl may require a (very) small fee to  
provide hosting (unlike axxs which doesn't explicitly ask for payment  
for hosting)

I don't know of any other local groups, after these two I would be  
trying riseup
