As you may have noticed, it's back up ;)

Axxs.org suffered major load issues, and was worked on all this morning,
ending in a mysql update to 4.1.21-2 and reconfigure of settings while
we look at going to 5.

it was timing out just because of the load on the server ... at one
stage, it showed :

load average: 138.18, 122.85, 77.70

which is kinda 'high' :)

HTTPD is high too, and looking at squid caches for sites to help with
the issue till we can get the new server underway and move some of the
high usage sites onto a bigger machine.

anyway it's known. the issue is still being looked at, most folk have
been too busy to post here while battling the flames :)
