I would LOVE to be able to put some zope stuff on borg, however I don't
know exactly what is moving over to it, and haven't yet put forward the
request to the collective. And with the main indymedia sites moved over,
and considering there's a zope already running on axxs.org, the load
increase to axxs.org wouldn't be anywhere near what has moved off. As
well as the fact that a zope instance is not tied into all the other
sites.

With regard 'alternatives', it's in it's early stages, I setup a tracker
on axxs.org (http://svn.axxs.org/projects/alternatives)

There's a drupal and plone that were to be used for devel, both
attempting to implement a range of tasks people consider of an
alternative Indymedia, rather than choosing just one, so tickets can be
assigned based on Drupal, Plone, or All ... we can add other codebases
to this, if people wish to develop in them.

So I suppose then, I would love to request Alternatives at least go on
the new server, as it will probably have more of a presence and hits
etc. I also vouch for myself to be able to manage the zope instances on
it, setup etc. I can put forward a plan of layout and methodology
shortly.
