This all comes back to the issue of participation in the Axxs
collective. These ideas may have changed since Dave originally set you up.
The bottom line is that we are all volunteers, and can't jump when
somebody elses site is down. I look after several sites. This takes up
my volunteer time. I can't be responsible for other peoples sites.
You will need a tech person that can help out with server issues and be
knowledgeable enough to move the site over to new server themselves.
We need all groups taking part in Axxs to take full responsibility for
their own sites.
Having said that, there may be someone else in the Axxs collective that
will sponsor you as a tech. I've CC'd this email to the Axxs-sysadmin
list (which is where people should communitcate, not with me personally).
As for the current situation, we (the current tech people involved) are
aware the server is down and are working to get it up ASAP.
