  overthrown in a U.S. orchestrated coup. A brutal dictatorship came to power that oversaw 
  the illegal imprisonment and mass murder of thousands whose crime was supporting the 
  constitutional government they had duly elected. In 2007 the dictatorship was replaced through
  another election and the struggle for justice and human rights in Haiti continues.
