I've looked at the article you posted at
http://boston.indymedia.org/newswire/display/35412/index.php
Although you're normally a good writer, I have not centered it because
I think it needs some editing. It feels somewhat disjointed to me--it
doesn't flow well. It needs to b better organized, so people can get a
sense of the course of events. May be a first paragraph summarizing
everything that happened leading up to the ouster, then more paragraphs
spelling out what happened in more detail? I think a little more
explanation of the background issues would help as well--things like
Gutierrez was elected on an anti-neoliberal platform, then immediately
sold out; this recent history of massive unrest in Ecuador; that sort
of thing, so people have some context. I'm not thinking anything super
long or detailed--just something that makes it clearer what's going on
and why. I found the article a little confusing as is.
On the other hand, if anyone feels this is super-urgent and needs to be
featured now, with editing done later, I won't block featuring it. I do
understand it's importance--that's part of why I'd like things to be
clearer.
