Petrina,
All good questions. In short, there still is a lot to do so no worries if
things are missing. Joe was good enough to come all the way to my place
this afternoon to discuss, help configure the site, and make some to-dos
list for what else needs to happen.
Specifcally, the site look will likely change to some other default theme
with the logos and names in place. The sidebar needs the most work; Joe
and I figured out how to get a newswire working today but still needs a
hack job to meet our needs. The Latin American, Global Indymedia feeds
are new RSS sections we need to find a home for on the front page.
As for the calendar, that will certainly keep a huge spot on the front
page, though Joe and I were discussing maybe linking to the radicalendar
for now until we decide what's going on with the whole calendar source
(internal, Radicalendar, Robby's calendar page, etc.). And the donation
button and About Us section are things I plan to work into the site
tomorrow.
So, there's that. :) At any rate, rest assured more changes are coming
quick but ask away. Everyone needs to be involved in this so questions =
okay. Hopefully real soon we'll have more to comment on rather than ask
where it went.
Thanks,
r
