having read neither article I haven't much opinion, but on the
conceptual basis of the ratheon article...

I would think that creating a more tolerant and diverse atmosphere in
defense industries is quite important.  The ability to dehumanize
people who are different is what enables otherwise sane people to go
to war to fight the damned <racial slur here> 

I can see the desire to not promote Raytheon, but it seems like any
move toward tolerance should be supported.

Now if we can only get those damned herosexuals out of the military...
