Thanks you for the quick response Svea.
I feel as you do. It is a real drain on my time, especially right now; I'm trying to finish a semester in school. I know I'm the one who basically asked to have a meeting but if no one is going to come, I definitely don't have the time either.
I would like to talk about some of the editorial policy and I don't think we can do that with just one or two people.
Sofia, if you're out there, are we the only ones who are going today?
If you don;t respond then I'll be there.
Personally, I think the current Editorial policy is very good. We are all interpreting it differently however. I want to hear other people's interpretations and understand them. Then hopefully we can have a healthy discussion and come to some general agreement.
For instance, the other day a "Jesus never existed" article was hidden as "Religous. Not news." I'm glad it was hidden, it was just weird rambling, but I don't think we can just ban religious disussion.
Perhaps, we could have a series of discussions and develop a descriptive policy statement that can add to what is currently there. Maybe we can do it on line.
Anyway,
What about you Jon? Any thoughts?
Love,
J-Rock
