I don't think it's empty, though I'm not sure what's so funny about
Jordan being Palestine or who might have implied otherwise.

The British League of Nations Protectorate of Palestine included what
is currently Gaza, the West Bank, Israel, and Jordan.  So it's true
and a bit of histo-geograpghy a lot of people probably don't know
in the US.

I don't think it adds much to the discussion taking place and seems to
come out of nowhere, so I won't cry over it's loss, just seems a bit
over zealous.
