Hi Jon (and cc'd imc lists),
To me, this sounds like a very promising offer. The PIII you describe
should be fine for our needs, and we're used to running on debian
servers. We should be able to scrounge up a hard drive if that would
help, BTW. I don't see any problems with the informal nature of the
arrangement, as that's how we've always operated in the past.
The webitorial meeting is the right place to hash out details and / or
concerns others might have, but I agree that the Valentine's day
scheduling of it is not so good. Webitorial folks, would it be possible
to reschedule for sometime this weekend, or another night next week? Or
if
not, could we have a shorter gathering to cover only this issue? The
up-and-down nature of the site is obviously a huge problem, so the
sooner we can get to a better situation, the better.
