hi,
I strongly encourage you both to re-read the article
and search through Jay's web site. The more you look
into it, the more credibility it has (also see Tim's
email on this). The rest of his postings are not
interviews, they are letters of soldiers that he has
posted on his website:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFTMGroup/message/491
Here is a "letter to the editor" he got, in response
to his article:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFTMGroup/message/665
He has also written other articles on poverty and so
forth:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFTMGroup/message/705
And, here is an article on Salon.com that shows some
of the emotional and physical reactions that soldiers
with PTSD have when they come back home:

I don't think we should weigh this article on Jay's
response or not. I don't think we have a policy that
unless the author contact us, we'll center the article
or not. In regards to timeliness, the interview was
originally done in January (as Jay mentions on the
article), so it's not really tied to an "event".
Just one more thing, his website promotes an open
newswire like us and it is another good example of
collective indy media, and I really don't mind
promoting it (as well as hopefully attracting some of
his writers to our site as well).
cheers
Sofia
