Well I'm put off enough to oppose centering without further info. I'm
fine with leaving it in the newswire, in that space I feel we should
err on the site of leaving stuff up unless its provably false.

That doesn't carry much with me I don't know the people making the
decisions at those sites.

This looks like a reader submission area "Letters to Leaders", I'm not
certain of that, but it doesn't appear to be anything more than an
online letter to the editor.

My reading of this was that the AxisofLogic people discontinued the
relationship because of his belife the article in question is a
fabrication.
Now I don't know Les and he doesn't state who his reviewer is. This
presents the same problem the article does one has to do detailed
analyis of the content and based on limited expertise in the field
guess if it's true.
The critique of the AxisOfLogic is pretty compelling, and I don't
find that article quite as believable in general, the interviewee just
doesn't sound like a high ranking officer. Though there's a real
possibility the critique is fabribated as well.
I'd like to hear from MFSO that they actually refered someone to him
before featuring this or future articles.
Sharpie's example of his instability:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/coalitionforfreethoughtinmedia/message/1
I would have lost my shit too, that's not his group and the front page
of that group is pornographic, doesn't seem to be any message content.
Given that there's significant doubt in the editorial group and this
article is featured on US, I propose we drop the idea of centering
this one, but peruse an investigation (such as we can) into Jay's
general credibility since he is likely to post again and if he is for
real it would be good to feature something like this in the future.
