Hey Sofia --
Not to pick on you or anything, but I've noticed that you've deleted a
couple things. You should really be hiding them. We only delete things
in extreme circumstances, as designated in the editorial policy: "1.
Any hate posting that also carries media such as photos, audio or video
clips (to prevent the use of our server as a linkable storage space);
2. Any post by an individual known by Indymedia to have consistently
acted in a disruptive manner and that the collective has unanimously
identified as a sabateur. 3. Stories, pictures, video footage or other
material that could potentially incriminate or otherwise endanger
activists." (Tim also once deleted an audio recording in which Johnny
Wizard threatened to kill President Bush, something we all agreed was a
wise decision.) Other than that things should be hidden, so they can
still be read by anyone who goes to the hidden articles page. This is a
way of editing the website to get rid of junk yet try to remain
consistent with the spirit of open-publishing. I don't think anything
you deleted is a great loss, mind you, so it's not a big deal. I just
wanted to give you a heads up.
