[Boston-editorial] Proposal: pictures required for centered articles

I don't think Pete's proposal is a bad one. My only concern is about 
copyright issues. Can we find the pictures we need without violating 
copyright laws? We don't want to do anything that might open room for 
legal trouble. Also, while I oppose those forms of intellectual 
property rights laws that protect large corporations, the fact is some 
people make their living as free-lance photographers, a pretty marginal 
occupation, and copyright laws can protect people like this from 
getting ripped off. Therefore I'm not sure I'd want to violate 
copyright laws in such cases, even if we could get away with it. --
