[Boston-editorial] right wing spam on boston imc

Thanks Jan,

Occasionally we are slow to get to some comments and
hide them, so some of your feelilng may come from the
fact that we take a while.  

Assuming that's not the case however, it is very
difficult for us to come up with guidelines for our
editors in hiding these folks that do not also run the
risk of hiding legitimate comments.  Since we have a
number of volunteer editors, we need guidelines to
ensure politics do not begin to dominate that decision
making process.  

I do think we can do it better and get rid of more
junk, but patience may be required.  

One new idea that will depend on how soon we can get
the technology rolling is a legion of deputized
community editors that will be able to log on and vote
on hiding stuff or report stuff to the editors (a la
craigslist).  

This may take a while to get, but it sounds promising.
