[Boston-editorial] training editors

Yeah, we talked about that a couple meetings ago. Thing is, right now 
we don't have a training process. We just kind of give people editorial 
access and let them learn on the job, by asking questions to this list 
when they're not sure about something. Which is obviously not the best 
way to do it. We'd like to have some time to train new editors 
(including Petrina and Nicole, as well as you and Jon), but we decided 
first we wanted to nail down all this stuff about our mission statement 
and editorial policy. We figured it would make more sense to do that 
first and then train new folks.

Which reminds me, I added a suggestion for compromise language on the 
mission statement to the Wiki: "We oppose all systems of inequality of 
power." Does this work for you, Pete and Sofia? (And anyone else?)
