       Hey folks.

I've seen a bunch of really biased, and sometimes just plan nasty, posts by some guy named Veteran. Does anyone else have an opinion about if he's violating the Editorial policy? Specifically the "deleted" section of the editorail policy. I for one would love to see his crap deleted. Just look at the stuff that was posted by that name on the Thanksgiving article. (http://boston.indymedia.org/newswire/display/45088/index.php) The whole point of the article was to discuss going to Plymouth Rock to celibrate Thanksgiving in solidarity with a "Day of Mourning". This guy Veteran posted a ton of stuff that totally siderailed any discussion on the actual event, while also spamming the page *AND* being one-sided (as in all of his posts were based on some neo-patriotism kick and not about bringing food to the protest).

The Editorial policy that I think his posts violate is under the "deleted" section

  2. Any post by an individual known by Indymedia to have consistently acted in a disruptive manner and that the collective has unanimously identified as a sabateur.

Does anyone else on the Editorial team think that his posts are deliberately overwhelming the site (spamming) are sabatoging actual discussion on the topics (sabateur) or are just one sided and troll like anyways? If you do agree, will you PLEASE start deleting or hiding all of his posts so that we can actually get some real discussion (that is close enough to actually read without being side tracked by this spam) on the site?

Just wondering what you all think.

Also, any interest in holding an Editorial meeting an hour and a half before the General meeting in 2 weeks? We'd get there early, talk about Editorial policies, then be at the General meeting too. I for one am all about consolidation of meetings so we can use our free time for productivity instead of commuting!
