Oh, I definitely *want* them to post. I love those  guys!  I just think they could consolidate their postings into one  weekly post (on the Newswire) and also use the radicalcalendar for  individual posts.  Right now, there are 4 LPC announcements on the  Newswire.

appropriate.   On the other hand I don't know if the calendar is as visible
as we might like, this is probably why events get posted to the newswire, if
people don't see the calendar to post they sure aren't going to see it for
events (though perhaps they just don't know it's publicly writable...)
