Hey everyone,
I think perhaps we should change the Razorwire. Instead of the excerpt from Sharpie's sight, I would rather see something a little more explanatory and easy to understand, such as:
Boston Independent Media Center journalist, Brian Conley, left September 30th for Iraq to shoot video on the conflict and teach video production to community members in Baghdad. He is currently in Jordan interviewing Iraqi refugees and others affected by the war. His daily blog, which is updated once or twice a day, chronicles his experiences. For more information, check his blog site Alive in Baghdad. Donations are welcome.
Please, feel free to tweak my suggestion in any way you want. I'm on a nice computer, with a big monitor, at school, but I felt that the italicized excerpt was hard to understand, and appeared garbled, shoved as it is in that little red box. Also, he has already posted two entries since that excerpt was written. When I clicked on the link I had to search for the particular article.
Anyway, those are just my thoughts.
Be safe Sharpie.
Peace,
Jamie
