Hmmm, I disagree on why not to feature it. IT is rather scattered
bring up many point but not exploring any in real depth (though some
have external references for more info).
The article purports to answer two questions:
Who's Behind the Minutemen?
And What are the Forces that can Stop Them?
The first is answered with a few names and some name calling, likely
well deserved, but I'd want to see some explaination of the main
actors previous misdeeds rather than just basicly alling them a bunch
of racist assholes. I'm sure they are but expose don't just label.
The article then digress to some spattered discussion of working
condition here and abroad, without tying it to the issue at hand.
I see no answer to the second and most important question (and what's
asserted in the the request for feature) how to stop them.
Sure there's the one phrase (not even a whole senence) at the bottom
"if white workers and their organizations take decisive steps to
defend Latin at s and all oppressed nations against racism and
imperialism", this isn't really a course of action. What steps?
I suspect this is the root of Pete's impression of the article.
If the oppressed masses rise and install me as dictator, I'd open the
boarders and the minutemen would be some of the first against the
wall, but does that make it a good idea to install a benevelent (?)
dictator?
