I'd leave it.  It's arguably not news, and leans toward a personal squabble.
He does actually quote the content he takes offense at so people can make up
their own minds wether Jonathan's an ass or Eddy is a prima donna.

As i'm not related to any of the participants it might be useful for me to
post an editorial comment warning that the topic is close to being
"hidden" for reasons above and may well be removed if commets devolve
into personal attacks, but that it's been left up because I'd
rather err on the side of not censoring.

If it were "my site" that's what I'd do.

Pete, since you're friendly with Jonathan I think you should stay the hell
away from this one ona conflict of interest basis (but you seem to know that
from the tone of your initial message)
