[IMC-Boston-Editorial] mayday announcement consolidation

hi all, makes sense to me to bring the event listings into one space. some of them seem to be falling off the bottom already, and should be available for reference at least until the day's actions are done. judging from the responses to "some of the mayday 'day without immigrants' events" we will have to keep a sharp lookout for hate and spam as we get closer- apparently the wingnuts are intent on putting the 'culo' in 'ridiculous' (you like that?) and are feeling very threatened over this general strike. also, we might consider keeping each other posted about which events we will be covering, and with what media, so as to get maximum coverage. maybe we could add a small statement in the consolidated piece asking people to consider covering their local events for imc, to get as many of the decentralized actions represented in our final coverage. in fact, why couldn't we approach organizations which are planning events directly- this would ensure good reportage while inducing good community orgs to see imc as a resource in the future. i could speak to people doing the chelsea rally and the brazilian immigrant center.
one last thing- an article about some apartments in rockland(?) was submitted as a feature, but it doesn't appear in the center column...?

ok imc peeple, see you in the streets,
-alex
