I don't see it as ranting at all. To me, it has great intelectual value. True, it is not so much a newstory, but the concept of resistance consciousness, the thought of dismantling the right-wing by humanizing it, is quite enthralling. I don't know why I like it so much...
Like, "The people who run empires and those competing for such 'privilege', on the other hand, reflect another reality. A reality of being systematically beaten down and otherwise reduced." That is, "they" are the ones who are afraid of being beaten down by a lack of power/control because "they" have convinced themselves about being "civilized". that's pretty cool. so dimantling the myth of those in power, dismantles the beast...
Understanding resistance and its relationship to power in this case is more important than the act of resistance itself. Sorry, I'm ranting myself now!
I'm ok w/you blocking it if you don't think it belongs in the center.

So I didn't hide that feature, and i didn't respond before because i
didn't know what you were talking about, in the future can people PLEASE
PLEASE PLEASE give the url of whatever article or feature they are talking
about hiding or has been hidden or whatever?
Anyway, back to the matter at hand, Sofia, did you read this piece? Uhmmm
because it looks like crazy ranting to me. I don't see a direction or any
sort of thesis here. I would block keeping it up unless you or someone
else can make a great argument about its journalistic worth.
This is yet another example for why we should have consensus on a
"feature" before posting it....
