[IMC-Boston-Editorial] right-wing postings on our site

Hey there,

As of late I've seen many postings to mainstream news against Islam, Hamas, etc. I have a feeling someone (because I doubt there's more than one person) is cleverly using other press to post their own right-wing views about this. Not that it's not ok to have those views (I mean, whatever), but as I understand it our site is not a repository for right-wing news... What do the other editors think?

  So, for example:
Death by a Thousand Lawsuits: Islamic Lawsuit
  http://boston.indymedia.org/newswire/display/49811/index.php

This is a well-written article originally posted on the Washington Times, but as I did more research on it, it so happens that is an Op-Ed by one of Bush's cronies. Needless to say, I don't believe half of what he says (the way he quotes the Boston Herald kind of gave it away...).

I also just hid this article:
Hamas Rising And Their Promise to Exterminate the Jews
  http://boston.indymedia.org/newswire/display/49821/index.php

Which is clearly one-sided. The author P. David Hornik is a freelance writer and translator living in Jerusalem who has contributed recently to The Jerusalem Post, The American Spectator Online, and Israeli news-views websites.

I mean, I wouldn't have a post there from an extremist Palestinian either... It just doesn't do any good to actually understanding the conflict, but rather demonizes one group over the other.

  what do you think?

  peace,
  Sofia
