to say the least... but we'll manage. Jamie's also taking care of his family and might not make it. Mike's showing a movie (repression at Atenco) at LPC, so he might not make it. Dana is still home I think...

Oh geez. I hope a million new volunteers show up.

So, to answer your question, Jon, yes I think offering WMass server space is really cool. Maybe we can work together somehow on the drupal site...

Also, see attached the Volunteer Manual that I was bringing tonight. Please read it carefully and let me know what you think. It's mostly based on an old manual that we had... plus some additions. The *most* important section is about the new volunteers policy. See:

I'm hoping that will help us expand our base without fear of getting "infiltrated" while at the same time doing aggressive outreach. Please let me know what you think.

  peace,
  Sofia

I know you're all shocked, but I'll be missing the meeting due to
family responsibilities.

So here's some notes:

* We have manged to get soem anti-spam features back ported to our
running version of Dada, Sofia is provbably best placed to say how
  well they work.

* I got a test version of our Dada site to upgrade to the newer more
secure current version. I tried to repeat the steps from my notes
and failed, so that's still a work in progress. I don't want to
touch the live site until I get get it to work right twice in a row.

* Drupal, I've just been slacking on that...still need to just get the
basic software environment on our server, not hard just not done.

* Slightly relatedly Western Mass IMC is currently running Dada and
looking to switch to Drupal as well, so we may be able to pool soem
thought power to get it done.

* W. Mass is also apparently looking for new hosting. From a
technical stand point they're a good fit for us and I'm infavor of
extending an invitation to use our server, What's the sense of the
  group on this point?
