Yeh, I got paged about it at about 5:15 (well sooner but I was on the
subway), and then every 15min or so untill I setup the announcement

That would have been a special case, as it happens I was on campus
untill 10pm anyway Monday, but if I had the same situation ad last
night on the day of a major event, I'd have stayed through the lessons
and then brought the kids back to MIT to fix the problem.

In my day job I support computing services for about 900-1000 MIT
computer scientists, and they can be a cranky lot, so I guess I've
had that "customer communication" stuff beaten into me :)
