[IMC-Boston-Editorial] Meetings: Questions: End of Semester: Things to Celebrate

WOW! I'm stressed out... I have so many papers to
write for the end of the semester that I can't think
straight...

So, I know that Jamie & Jon can't make it to a General
Meeting this Sunday... Not sure if Dana can. And
sharpie is back in Jordan (i think). A few questions I
have:

- Gen.Mtg.: It's been very hard for us to meet on
Sunday nights... I'm wondering if there is a better
time for us to have our general mtgs? I'm thinking,
smack! in the middle of the week like a Wednesday PM.
Of course, we'd have to advertise, change it on the
web and so forth, but I'm thinking it might also help
us recruit people? I mean, who wants to go out on a
Sunday night to a freaking mtg?

- Gen. Mtg content: ok, so in the past we've used to
talk business @ General Meetings, but I'm thinking as
we have moved on more to electronic decision-making,
we could use the next few meetings to have IMC open
houses and bring in new volunteers. Editorial Mtgs
could be used more for decision-making and *bonding*
(yikes!).

- Editorial Mtg: We REALLY, REALLY need to have an
editorial meeting. Alex needs to meet you. I need
desperately to meet Jon. Jamie, I've heard, has been
seen crying quietly because he misses us so much...
Mike hates meetings but I know he has tons of stuff to
share... Jamie & Jon, you're the hardest to get a hold
of (parental responsibilities), maybe you 2 could
agree on a time and then invite the rest of us?  Well,
or something like that...  You know what I mean.

- Besides all of this, damn!! I need a freaking beer!!
We need to celebrate our: new poster, new web site,
recent $500 donation, sharpie's being back in Jordan
(i think)...
